MOPS sodium salt, also known as 3- (N-morpholino) propanesulfonate sodium salt in Chinese, is a type of biological buffering agent mainly used in biochemical experiments as a buffer solution to regulate pH. Its effective buffering range is between 6.5-7.9. Speaking of which, I don't know if it reminds you of MOPS buffer. Yes, MOPS sodium salt is actually a derivative of MOPS, so they are extremely similar in name, pH range, and even application. And in some aspects, its usage effect will be better than MOPS.
Application:
1. MOPS sodium salt has almost no permeability to cell membranes and can be used in cell culture media;
