Description:
Troxerutin, also known as vitamin P4, is a naturally occurring flavonoid which is isolated from tea, coffee and cereal grains as well as vegetables.
Troxerutin is a flavonol, a type of flavonoid, derived from rutin. It is more accurately a hydroxyethylrutoside. It can be isolated from Sophora japonica, the pagoda tree. It is used as a vasoprotective.
Function:
1) Troxerutin will enhance the absorption of Vitamin C;
2) Troxerutin helps relieve pain, bumps and bruises and has antibacterial effect;
3) Troxerutin is used to increase the resistance of the blood vessels and regulate the permeability
4) Troxerutin can promote circulation, stimulates bile production, help lower blood cholesterol, and prevent cataracts.
Application:
Troxerutin can inhibit platelet aggregation,prevent thrombosis,can cure the vascular injury induced by 5 serotonin or bradykinin, increase the capillary resistance,reduce the capillary permeability,prevent edema caused by the increasement of vascular permeability. It has the significant protective effect to acute ischemic brain injury.
