Introduction:
Methyl laurate is an important raw material for daily cosmetic fragrance and soap making industry. It is also a raw material for the synthesis of a new type of food emulsifier, sucrose laurate, which is efficient, safe, non-toxic and non-polluting, and for the synthesis of various anionic surfactants and non-toxic substances. The raw material of ionic surfactant is an important intermediate in fine chemicals.
Application:
Methyl dodecanoate used in production of biodiesel. It has been used in selective synthesis of the secondary amide surfactant, N-methyl lauroylethanolamide. It is also utilized as emollients, perfuming agents skin conditioning.
