Description:
L-Carnosine is a dipeptide (two amino acids) that is often found in organs and tissues such as the brain, heart, skin, muscles, kidneys and stomach. L-Carnosine can activate cells in the human body and resist aging through two mechanisms: inhibiting glycation and protecting our cells from damage by free radicals. The consequence of glycation is that sugar molecules and proteins cross-link uncontrollably (sugar molecules will stick to proteins), cell function loss and incomplete gene combination, which will accelerate aging. L-Carnosine can also stabilize cell membranes and reduce brain lipid peroxidation, thereby preventing nerve and brain degeneration.
