Introduction:
Titanium dioxide, chemical name titanium dioxide, formula Ti02, molecular weight 79.88. White powder, relative density 3.84. Melting point 1560 DEG C. Water absorption O.02%. At high temperature (>700 DEG C), the heating is converted into rutile crystal. The melting point is about 1800 DEG C. Refractive index 2.55. The average particle size is 0.15 ~ 0.23um. Mohs hardness 5~6. Chemical stability, light resistance, heat resistance, dilute acid, alkali resistance. Having very strong tinting power (covering power) and dispersing power. Durability is less than rutile titanium dioxide, light fastness is poor, and with the resin after the adhesive layer powder. The temperature is higher than 400 degrees, showing yellow obviously. Insoluble in water, organic acid and inorganic acid through the faint, soluble in sulfuric acid, and alkali. Non-toxic, maximum allowable concentration of 10mg/m3 in air.
Application:
Zinc oxide can be used as: feed nutrient enhancer, nutritional supplement (zinc enhancer); rubber or cable reinforcing agent to make rubber have good corrosion resistance, tear resistance and elasticity, natural rubber vulcanization activator, white rubber colorant and filler; fine particles (particle size of about 0.1μm) can be used as polyolefin or polyvinyl chloride and other plastics light stabilizer; paint pigment and rubber filler; used in medicine to make ointments, zinc paste, adhesive plasters, etc.; analytical reagents, reference reagents, fluorescent agents and photosensitive material matrix; electrostatic wet copying, dry transfer, laser fax communication, electronic computer electrostatic recording and electrostatic plate-making files; in the redox capacity determination of manganese, it is used to precipitate salts that are easily digested, such as iron, chromium, vanadium, Chem albook titanium and zirconium, used as hydrogen sulfide absorbent; standard agent for calibrating disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid; preparation of new chiral skeleton material NaZnSiO3OH, which can be used for ion exchange, adsorption or catalysis; inorganic white pigment, whose tinting power is not as good as titanium dioxide and lead powder, is widely used in the coloring of ABS resin, polystyrene, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, amino resin and polyvinyl chloride, paint and ink; production of varnished cloth, cosmetics, enamel, paper, leather, matches, cables, etc.; printing and dyeing, glass industry, pharmaceutical industry, etc.; used in plastic industry, sunscreen cosmetics series products, special ceramic products, special functional coatings and textile hygiene processing, etc.; widely used in the deep desulfurization and purification process of industrial raw gas and oil such as synthetic and hydrogen production.
