What is Ferulic Acid?
Ferulic acid is a plant-based antioxidant primarily used in anti-aging skin care products. It's naturally found in a variety of foods.
Ferulic acid is available in both supplemental form and as part of anti-aging serums. It's primarily used to fight off free radicals, which play a role in age-related skin issues, including age spots and wrinkles.
Ferulic acid has the following functions: anti-platelet agglutination and thrombus; Scavenging nitrite, oxygen free radical, nitro peroxide; Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory; Anti-tumor; Resistance mutation; Increase immune function; Enhance human sperm motility and motility.
In addition to being widely used in medicine, ferulic acid has been approved as food additive in some countries.
